IMMIX

Architectural Dimming

IMMIX™ is another step in the evolution of lighting control, becoming the first architectural dimming system to reliably bridge the communication gap between dimming and building automation. IMMIX is built for integration with multiple communication options; BACnet (MS/TP, ARCnet,IP, Ethernet, or PTP), Modbus (RTU, ASCII, TCP/IP client) or N2 Open. The innovative system design enables integrators and facility managers to experience the tremendous benefits of integrated dimming.

IMMIX is an integrated, distributed architectural dimming solution that is suitable for new or retrofit installations including; conference centers, ballrooms, boardrooms and other architectural dimming applications. By mixing four basic system elements; master control station, remote station, power booster and integration module, IMMIX is able to perform traditional dimming system functions while being supervised from almost any building automation system.

IMMIX

IMMIX - Master Control StationMaster Station

One of the key elements of the IMMIX Dimming System is the Master Control Station, Part # LD200MS. The Master Control Station is the primary, local user interface and each offers onboard channels (6) and presets (6). Each channel is capable of directly controlling 120 VAC incandescent lighting loads of 800 watts or less, up to a maximum of 2000 watts of total load per Master Control Station. To increase individual channel capacity, station capacity, or to accommodate other load types and voltages IMMIX Power Boosters are available. IMMIX Power Boosters are designed to be directly controlled by the IMMIX Master Control Station and consume less than 15 watts of station power.

The IMMIX Master Control Station is designed to mount in a 4-gang, 3.5 inches (8.89 cm) deep electrical box and requires only a single 20 amp, 120 VAC power feed. All IMMIX Master Control Stations and Remote Stations reside on a six wire, low voltage network for communication and controller power. The station faceplate is constructed of high-impact poly carbonate and a screw hiding insert with permanent identifiers for presets, off, channels, master, fade time, and store.

IMMIX - Power Boosters

IMMIX Power BoosterWhen an application exceeds the capacity of a single channel, or the capacity of a master control station, or there is a need to accommodate other load types and voltages, IMMIX Power Boosters are easily added to the system.  Each IMMIX Power Booster consumes less than 15 watts from the master control station and is offered in a variety of load types, listed below.  One or multiple boosters can be wired to a single, master control station channel as long as the channel or station capacity is not exceeded.

LD200DIMIMMIX - Dimming Integration Module

A key element of the IMMIX Dimming System is the Dimming Integration Module, Part # LD200DIM.  The Dimming Integration Module is a full-featured multi-protocol router and translator that is designed to integrate Blue Ridge Technologies Dimming Systems into Building Automation Systems featuring BACnet or other standard protocols.

This module's powerful high-speed processors can handle the most demanding applications. Whether your applications require BACnet over IP, Ethernet, ARCNET 156K, MS/TP, PTP, or whether they require Modbus RTU, ASCII or TCP/IP Client, it’s diverse set of ports enable you to control and monitor the IMMIX network no matter which of these protocols you employ.

IMMIX - Remote Stations

IMMIX Remote Station LD200RS5PLD200RS5P - Remote Station, 5 Presets

  • Presets 1-4 and Off
  • Plus Master Up, Master Down

This station allows 4 Presets, Off, Master Up and Master Down to be activated remotely. The presets may be set as 1 thru 4, 7 thru 10, or 13 thru 16. The desired preset page is selected in the station configuration (see Install Guide). Activating presets 1 thru 4 via the remote station will light the corresponding LED on the master station and also show the presets fade time on the master station display. The LED will stay lit for as long as the preset is active. The master station will show only the fade time when presets 7 thru 16 are activated from this station. When the fade is complete the master station display will be blank and all LED’s will be off.

When the Off Preset is activated, the lights will fade to Off or to the “Lowest Level Settings” (configured at the master station) over 10 seconds. When a button is pressed on this station the LED next to it will light. The bottom LED will be lit when a preset other than is present on this station, is active.

Pressing the master raise/lower (Up or Down Arrow Buttons) during a fade will immediately end the fade.

LD200RSRC - Multi-Room Control Station Lumisys IMMIX Partition Control Station LD200RSRC

  • Up to 7 partitions

Wall Mount Multi-Room Control Station for IMMIX

This unit is to be used in conjunction with LD200MS (IMMIX Master Station)

This station allows two different areas to be assigned to a Wall Open/Close (Partition) Button. Pressing a partition button (labeled P1-P7) will combine the two different areas assigned to that button into one area. Combining the areas means that activating a preset (via another remote or a master station) on one station will activate the same preset on the other station. Pressing the partition button again will cause the stations to go back to being in two separate areas and operating individually. The stations are combined when the partition LED is lit. A maximum of seven different area pairs (one per button) may be assigned.

LD200RSIR - IMMIX Wall Mount Infrared ReceiverLumisys IMMIX Wall Mounted Infrared Reciever

This station allows Presets 1 -6, OFF, Master Up and Master Down to be remotely activated via the wireless Portable Infrared Dimming Remote Control . The LED will light when the station is receiving a signal from the handheld unit.

  • Optional for better IR response

Activating presets 1 thru 6 via the handheld will light the corresponding LED on the master station and also show the presets fade time on the master station display. The LED will stay lit for as long as the preset is active. The master station will show only the fade time when presets 7 thru 16 are activated from this station. When the fade is complete the master station display will be blank and all LED’s will be off.

LD200IR - IMMIX Portable Infrared Remote Control for Dimming SystemsLumisys IMMIX Infrared Remote

  • Presets 1- 12 and OFF
  • Master Up, Master Down
  • Works with built-in IR receiver on Master Stations

For portable control, this handheld infrared controller will activate presets 1 thru 12 and OFF plus the master raise/lower control. The LD200IR has a range of 50’ from the LD200MS (Dimming Master Station) or LD200RSIR wall mounted infrared receiver stations.
